The general cold roll forming process includes sheet forming, roll forming, continuous forming and joint forming.

The rolled profiles can be directly collected and put into storage, which is especially suitable for products that are easily deformed after the sheet is formed, and are mostly used for small batch production. The process of roll forming and continuous forming is basically the same. The difference between them is that it is necessary to weld the joints of the successively formed sheets, so that the sheets can be continuously formed and processed; the roll forming is supplied in a single roll. The equipment investment and floor space required by these two processes are relatively large.


The joint forming process is a forming process for processing special steel. The section steel has special requirements for the forming process and requires complicated forming equipment, which is suitable for the processing of high-strength plates. The equipment requirements are complex and the investment is high.



In recent years, cold roll forming steel products have been widely used as important structural parts in many fields such as construction, car manufacturing, shipbuilding, electronic industry and machinery manufacturing.
